My name is Chelsy Quezada, I’m a Sophomore in City College of New York. This year I was able to take a Social Writing class, which has helped me learned more about writing, the way I write, and how I transfer a piece of myself into all my writing. This class not only pushed my out of my comfort zone to interact with others, but also gave me the creative freedom to write about topics that interested me. I was able to connect many different ideas and topics into one paper. This one class taught me that writing isn’t just about the words you put down on paper. But the meaning behind each word that one reads. One quote that Shakieb Orgunwall said was ” She was chaos and beauty intertwined. A tornado of roses from divine.” Writing is chaotic but beautiful, just like a rose. We might be stressed and hurt while we write, but in the end, we’re left with something so beautiful. I want to bring you along my writing process, the ugly, the bad, and the good. I want you guys to get a glimpse of my mind….
